Introduction: Nowdays, design and art interact each other, design and art is more and more difficult to distiguish. This essay intends to consider the difference between art and design mostly base on function not on appearance. But sometimes they have interchangeable nature. It begins considering how difference from art and design by function and moves on to the idea that design can be art when people receive the difference emotion by the design work. It’s finished by discussing art can be design.
